Learn how to render first aid to children in a course designed specifically for those who work with children in a professional capacity.
Tailored specifically to meet the needs of childcare workers, preschool teachers, and daycare workers, this American Heart Association (AHA) course will teach you how to respond to and manage illnesses and injuries in children and infants during the critical minutes before first responders arrive.
Professional CPR is proud to offer a first aid, CPR, and AED training course that meets the requirements of the Emergency Medical Services Authority (EMSA) for childcare, daycare, and preschool workers in the State of California.
Topics covered in this course include how to perform CPR on children and infants, proper AED use, asthma care training, management of juvenile illnesses and injuries, child and infant safety checklist, developing an understanding of how children and infants behave when injured or ill, and tips on how to interact with them and keep them calm.
The American Heart Association manual used in this course may be purchased at or before class for $20 per copy.
